1. What is iTokk Mobile?
iTokk Mobile is an easy way to make cheap phone calls from your smartphone, mobile phone or landline.

2. What devices does it work on?
iTokk Mobile is compatible with any phone that has web browser. You can also trigger a call from a PC to connect any two numbers you like. You can make calls directly from your address book with the Blackberry plugin.

3. How do I get it?
Open your mobile browser. Once you register you will find yourself in the iTokk Zone. Here you will select your product and whether you want to pay with the $10.00 or $20.00 incremental top-up. In the iTokk Zone you can make your first call free! Go ahead and test the product out!

4. Where does it work?
You must use a Canadian or US number to register for your iTokk Mobile account. However, it will work in any country that has either a GSM or CDMA mobile phone network (this includes 99% of all countries with a minimum of 2.0G data services).

5. Do I need a special phone service?
You can trigger a call from any PC to any two phones; however, a mobile data connection is required to trigger a call from your phone. So if you want to use iTokk on the go you need a Smartphone. The iTokk software only uses data to connect the call, so you are not incurring high data costs unlike other VoIP solutions.

7. How much does it cost to register?
To register for an iTokk Mobile account is FREE. You can register here. There are no contracts, equipment or downloads required to use iTokk Mobile. Your first phone call is free. When you register you can purchase a $10.00 or $20.00 credit for your account.

8. How much do calls cost?
iTokk eliminates your outbound airtime costs by triggering a call-bypass. That’s why iTokk mobile is better than traditional calling cards. With a calling card you will still pay your outgoing charges on top of the long distance rate. See our pricing page to find out our individual rates to each country and view the top up and monthly plans.

9. How do I pay?
After you register you will be redirected to the iTokk Zone. This is where you will select your product and make your first payment.

10. Will I incur data charges when calling from a smartphone?
Almost nothing, in fact a fraction of a penny. For example each call setup uses about 3-4 kilobytes. So for example if you are paying $30 for a 1GB data connection, each call setup will cost you about .0001 cents.
Example of Data
- 1 mega byte = 1,024 kilobytes
- 1 Giga byte = 1,024 mega bytes
- Therefore, 1 GB is equal to 1,048,576 kilobytes
- Divided by say 4 kb is equal to 262,144 call setups
- Divide this by $30 and each call setup is equal to about .0001 cents per call

11. How do I make a call on my smartphone?
Follow the steps:
- Open up the mobile web browser and enter the URL www.itokk.mobi.
- Log in to your account. We suggest that you bookmark the “login” page for even faster access. You may also want to check “remember username and password” and “sign me in automatically” so that you don’t need to log in each time you make an iTokk Mobile call.
- Simply enter the phone number you wish to call and press the "Call" button. (Make sure you have sufficient balance to make a call).

12. How do I make a call from my PC?
Follow the steps:
- Open up your web browser and enter the URL www.itokk.mobi.
- Log in to your account. We suggest that you'll bookmark the “login” page for even faster access. You may also want to check “remember username and password” and “sign me in automatically” so that you don’t need to log in each time you make an iTokk Mobile call.
- Enter the phone number that you want to dial from.
- Enter the phone number you wish to call and press the "Call" button. (Make sure you have sufficient balance to make a call). iTokk Mobile will initiate the call. Your phone will ring and you will answer it and WAIT for your call to connect to your destination phone number.

13. Can I use my iTokk Mobile account with Wi-Fi?
If the iTokk Mobile customer has Wi-Fi access on their mobile device, then they can use Wi-Fi to access iTokk Mobile and initiate a call.

18. How do I make a call with my Blackberry?
Download the Blackberry plugin. Go to your phone’s address book and select a number. Click on your Menu button and scroll to select “Call using iTokk” then press your toggle tracking ball.
